This seagull followed us on a trip to Norway by boat. This gave us a wonderful opportunity to photograph it. It is beautifully framed by the bright blue sky and the sun shines through its feathers.

I have enjoyed taking photographs since I was a child, and my father laid the foundation for this. He gave me a completely analogue camera, a Practica with interchangeable lenses for 35mm film. This sparked the fascination that I still pursue today. My cameras and lenses accompany me on every journey, even to the most remote regions. My focus is almost always on nature.
