I was photographing the sun rays in the forest path and had been standing here for an hour, waiting for the rays to appear, disappear and re-appear. All of a sudden the rays re-appeared, but much more subtly than before and at the exact time that I made this image, two horseback riders appeared in the distance, , one moment later and they had taken a turn to the left and the moment had passed. This is what I love so much about landscape photography, the ever elusive moment...That moment that things fall into place and something that looks ordinary in normal conditions is lifted to something quite magical
