About ‘Lilac crocuses in February’ by Corinne Welp
I photographed these crocuses with my macro lens. That's why the nearby background is so blurred. So the blur is intentional. It gives the image a painterly effect. Yellow crocuses are also vaguely visible in the background. These spring harbingers are in my garden in France and bloom in February.
