The mountain rises silently from a sea of clouds, its contours only partially visible. Mist and haze envelop the flanks and blur the boundaries between sky and earth. The light is soft and subdued, creating a calm, almost meditative atmosphere.
The viewer's gaze is drawn to the peak, which emerges from the cloud cover in a powerful yet restrained manner. The reduced use of colour and the gentle transitions lend the picture a timeless quality. The mountain appears enraptured, distant and untouched - a place of stillness and sublimity.

Horstick has been taking photographs since she was ten years old. From 2000 to 2003, she studied photo design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and completed her degree with a thesis in Kosovo on the subject of the police and the work of the UN. Three of these works were presented in a travelling exhibition by Terre des Femmes between 2005 and 2016.

Horstick worked as a choreographer and photographer before her studies and as a model for fashion…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
