I took this photo in Osaka, Japan. For work, I was allowed to go this way and in advance I had marked a number of locations to photograph, including this location from the roof of the "Umeda Sky Building".
Armed with tripod, camera and some lenses, I headed in this direction. Once I arrived at the building, I had 2 options. First, the fantastic escalators that lead you to and from the observation platform and, of course, the view from the roof.
The challenge here is getting a sharp image because there is always a little bit of movement in these kinds of buildings and you definitely suffer from that when working with slower shutter speeds. In this case, I had to work with that because by now it had become evening.
But anyway, a sturdy tripod, slightly higher iso value and a remote control do wonders and in the end I managed to take a nice sharp picture here. Satisfied, I could return to the hotel.
This concludes half the work for me. The other half to make the work suitable for my shop at work on the wall, I do at home with the necessary post-processing in various photo programmes. All in all, this takes quite some time, but if the end result is what I had in mind, I am very satisfied and this work will not look out of place on your wall.
