This picture focuses on an everyday object: plastic packaging, which is placed in a new visual field of tension through targeted coloured lighting. The image shows a close-up view in which light is refracted and reflected in the transparent structures - creating iridescent colour gradients in blue, violet, red, green and yellow.
The inspiration for this work arose from the desire to detach industrial materials from their functional context and visualise their aesthetic potential. I was attracted by the idea of how light and surface can interact with each other to transform something seemingly banal into a visual experience.
The atmosphere I wanted to create is ambivalent: between technical coolness and sensual colourfulness. It's about contrasts - between material and light, function and perception. The picture invites you to take a closer look and rediscover the familiar.
In an interior context, this work acts as a visual statement. It brings colour, structure and a modern, almost futuristic element into the room. Especially in minimalist environments, it can serve as an eye-catcher and stimulate conversation - without being loud.
