About ‘Spray on the cliffs’ by Detlef Hansmann Photography

The surf hits the cliffs near Sagres in Portugal. The force of the waves and wind is palpable. In the foreground, the surf hits the cliffs and creates a spray that rises metres high. Subsequent waves increase the pressure and cause ever new eruptions. In the background you can see the coastline continuing on the horizon.
