About ‘Spring in Norway’ by Magnus Karlsen

A woman picking apple blossom in an orchard in my home county, Telemark, in Norway. It is May and the weather is beautiful.

Impasto brushstroke on canvas, originally set in Bø, Telemark where they are famous for their apples. The woman is wearing a traditional dress made in this area and in the background we see Norsjø, the lake that makes the climate in this area so perfect for growing fruit.

The mood is uplifting, the colours are warn and rejuvenating. The painting hangs well in rooms with toned down colours, but can go pretty much anywhere. Very popular for cabins, farm houses and chalets.

The motif reminds the owner of spring. It has a bounce in its step without being too much. Available in many different sizes. The painting captures outside light really well, and hangs well by windows so that it gets indirect light.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
