A beautiful view of the famous St Mark's Square, in Venice.
I took this image on an early spring morning, when most tourists were still in bed. Prominent in the foreground you can see the arches of the Doge's Palace, which form a nice frame for the Campanile in the background. This bell tower is beautifully lit, by the early sunlight.
By placing the decorative arches close to the foreground, you get a great depth effect. And all the beautiful details in the marble columns are clearly visible.
