We camera across this beautiful foggy woodland scene on our hike from one mountain to the next in France. After a few meadows and rocky paths, the path meandered into the forest with a steep cliff on the right side of us. The fog became ever denser and this created a mystical atmosphere. The leaves were still very green even though it was October, which was surprising by if you look well enough you see some leaves are changing into their autumn hues.
Ellen Borggreve is a landscape photographer and author of Woodscapes and Praxisbuch Wälder fotografieren, among others. She was born and raised in the woods of the Veluwe where her love for trees originated. Besides forests she also likes to photograph Dutch coastal scenes.
