About ‘The blue meadow damselfly’ by Martijn Brink
The meadow damselfly is a 45 to 48 mm large damselfly from the family of the damselflies, which is fairly common in the Netherlands and Belgium near running water of reasonable quality. In the west of the Netherlands it is rare. The species is distributed almost throughout Europe.
