About ‘crab at work in Ras Al-Jinz’ by Paula Romein
I followed this crab that was busy at work on the coast of Ras Al-Jinz in Oman for a few hours. I lay flat on the ground for the best view and also very still. It was so fascinating to follow the little creature in its pursuits of digging a pit. His claws seem to come back in the background of rocks.

Paula Romein
Burgh-Haamstede, Netherlands
Paula Romein is a Dutch photographer who has been working for various companies since 2008. She is also a travel photographer, which is her great passion.
She began her studies at the Stichting Kunstzinnige Vorming in Rotterdam and later followed the course at Martin van Thiel's photography school in Utrecht. Paula lives with her partner Rolf and their two cats in the Zeeland village of Burgh-Haamstede.
