About ‘imprint’ by Margriet Snaterse

We live here on earth and leave our imprint behind. In this work I reflect on my own imprint on earth. What energy do I spread around me? I think it is very important to remain positive and hopeful, to inspire others to do the same. If you zoom in on the work you will see many funny details. Humor is one of the most important qualities to keep your life light.
On the bottom left you see a figure with the energy she radiates around her. On the right an eye, she observes herself. From her thoughts a fingerprint or a path she has taken that has left an imprint in the world arises. In the earth around the main character of this story, you will find all kinds of funny figures that have emerged from the paint, the matter.
the drawing is mixed technique of ecoline with markers on paper. The original is made in the format 50 by 65 cm, but can be enlarged to do the details even more justice

Margriet Snaterse

I was born in 1967 and lost my hair at the age of 3. From 4 to 21 I wore a wig, but not since then. After high school I attended the art academy in Rotterdam and graduated in 1991. After that I worked in the social sector for 21 years, until 2012. In that year I became a full-time artist with a focus on street art and art in public space. In my studio I develop my free art and sell it here.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
