Your gaze is immediately guided from below to above, we follow the flowing inks trying to reach the bright yellow surface. It reminds me of an escape towards the sky, the sky. On the left, the pink track keeps the red in anxiously.
At my studio, I like to create unique work on paper. So this is handmade work. For my watercolours, I choose a limited number of colours that I let come together on the paper. As a result, you see lots of different colours in the transition from one to the other.
This is a cutaway from a larger work that I scanned and edited digitally. From the same work, I will soon have three more cut-outs available at Work on the Wall. These will be perfect to combine with Furiosity!
