About ‘Rijn en Zon’ by Jan van der Knaap

De korenmolen Rijn en Zon in Utrecht. Deze molen staat in Utrecht op de hoek van de Adelaarstraat en de Merelstraat, maar hier te zien vanuit het parkje vanaf de andere kant, bij het Zwartewater en de Gruttersdijk. Het water is de gracht langs de Gruttersdijk. In de verte is de brug van de Adelaarstraat te zien.
Rijn en Zon is een korenmolen uit 1913. Er was al een eerder Rijn en Son molen die in 1745 was gebouwd op het Paardenveld, maar die molen werd in 1912 gesloopt. In 1913 werd aan de Adelaarstraat deze molen gebouwd met een groot deel van de bakstenen uit de oude molen. Dit werd de Rijn en Zon molen. De molen is een rijksmonument.
Deze foto behoort tot de Moderne Geschiedenis serie en is daarom in oud zwartwit uitgevoerd.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
