About ‘SUNSET ITTERBECK’ by WILBERT HEIJKOOP photography

Itterbeck (Dutch: Itterbeek) is a town in Germany, 10 kilometers across the Dutch border near Venebrugge in the Landkreis Grafschaft Bentheim in the state of Lower Saxony. Itterbeck takes its name from the stream Itter which flows through the village. The municipality has 1,753 inhabitants[1] and cooperates in the Samtgemeinde Uelsen.

The municipality consists of the villages of Itterbeck, Egge, Itterbeckermoor, Kleine Striepe, Balderhaarmoor, Itterbeckerdoose and Ratzel.

The four main streets in Itterbeck are Hauptstraße, Wilsumer Straße, Geteloer Straße and Egger Straße.

The center of the village is home to two car dealerships, those of Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen. Other facilities include two bank branches, a supermarket, gas station, car wash and a cafeteria. The post office closed its doors several years ago. Residents now have to rely on Uelsen, a village only 5 kilometers east, for this purpose.

Itterbeck is frequently visited by Dutch people because of the relatively favorable price differences of certain items between the Netherlands and Germany, such as gasoline, spirits and detergents.

Itterbeck celebrated its 750th anniversary in 2004.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
