About ‘Church Beers’ by Lex Schulte

The church of the small Brabant village of Beers. Because of the tiling and the dramatic clouds, the silhouette of the church is beautiful! The Saint Lambert's Church in Beers is a neo-Gothic cross basilica built after a design by Caspar Franssen. Beers was an independent parish under the Cuijk deanery with this medieval church from the 15th century, dedicated to Saint Lambert. After the church was cured by the Reformed in 1648, the Catholics got their church back in 1801. However, this church was in a neglected state and required numerous repairs. A new, neo-Gothic cross basilica was built, of which Caspar Franssen was the architect. This was inaugurated in 1891. The interior displays murals, stained glass windows, a way of the cross and a Smits organ. The 15th century tower was preserved during the demolition of the medieval church. She has no buttresses and has three sections that are decorated with pointed arch niches. The tower was raised and got a new peak.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
