Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy. An architectural wonder you must have seen once. During our holiday in Normandy, we were in the area and of course I had this location on my sights.
In advance, I had looked up a few spots from where I thought you could get the best view of this imposing structure. There are a number of classic shots you can take here but for this shot I chose to zoom in quite a bit with my 100-400mm lens.
This way, you can clearly see the details of all the buildings that are at this location. In the end, I went back several times until I had shot all the shots I had in mind.
For this shot, I opted for a monochrome edit because I think it suits this shot better.
I always do this at home, where I have access to a powerful PC and the necessary software packages needed to make the image suitable for your wall.
