Autumn started early and the foliage of the birch trees was the first to change colour whilst the grass was yellow due to the long drought. The mist turned into a cool shade when the sky above became clear blue. This made the foliage stand out even more. I really like how the dense fog obscure many trees from sight and keeping others clearly visible in the foreground. A couple of trees mirror each others poses and with them looking like they are leaning in, they add some dynamics to this photograph.
